How to access account without password or backups?

I have access to my personal Google account on my iPhone but I don't remember the password. I want to access the account on my laptop. I no longer use the recovery email or phone number that I previously listed because they were from my old job. I remember when I created the account, an older password, and my mother's maiden name.  I had an email sent to my current work email address and I filled in the code it sent me. I just don't think I will have provided enough information to get access to change the password. I've tried before and Google doesn't believe me.
